Zami Marx is an artist specializing in fine art body painting and live body painting performances, both daytime and black light. Her body painting performances have been inside of art galleries, on music festival stages, in music videos, and a part of fashion shows. She loves to coordinate with dancers, aerialists, and fire performers to bring her body painting to life, and her work has been on stage with incredible musical artists such as Tycho, CloZee, Emancipator, Random Rab, Dimond Saints, Atyya, kLL sMTH, Govinda, and many more. She even painted CloZee herself for a photoshoot!
Zami also collaborates with photographers and videographers to create fine art gallery prints, video art, and social media content. Her work has been featured on the official websites for Envision, Lucidity, Serenity, and Desert Hearts.
Zami is able to adapt her work to any event or location – Nudity is not required! As appropriate, she can also paint over pasties or even clothing. Zami is proud to specialize in vegan, cruelty free, and eco-friendly products and practices. She also crafts her own headdresses.
Zami has a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Art from the University of Santa Barbara, California. She has been a professional body painter since 2008.
